Shattering the Silence in Massachusetts

The Massachusetts chapter has been a strong and active presence since 2017, anchored by key leadership including National Executive Director Ann Corcoran, a Massachusetts resident, and founding State Policy Director Laura Craciun.

The State Policy Director role was formally established in May 2024 in recognition of the impactful advocacy efforts already underway—both online and in the field—driving meaningful dialogue around policy reform in the Commonwealth.

Our membership reflects a broad and deeply invested coalition, including families of individuals at Bridgewater State Hospital, as well as families, peers, and professionals who have experienced firsthand the shortcomings of the current mental health system. Collectively, this group brings urgency, credibility, and a solutions-oriented focus to advancing systemic change.
